Co-creation is an active, creative and social process based on collaboration between stakeholders who need to find solutions to shared challenges.

It goes beyond consultancy, crowdsourcing or mass collaboration by facilitating equal collaboration between individuals.

SURE-Farm is a H2020 research project that aims at improving the resilience of European Farming Systems. We are aware that the active participation of relevant agricultural stakeholders is key to reach our goal.

With this in mind, SURE-Farm has created a Digital Co-creation Platform to bring together stakeholders, SURE-Makers, who have common interests and wish to share their concerns, and Co-create to enhance the capacities of farming systems to deal with incoming challenges.

Three challenges are addressed in the co-creation platform:

Improved Risk Management Tools

Improve existing and future strategies to deal with economic, environmental, social and institutional challenges, and find public-private collaboration opportunities

Improved Policies

Evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the existing policy framework, in particular regarding the CAP

Implementation Roadmaps

Design an enabling environment and build roadmaps for implementation

The Digital Co-creation Platform is led by the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) in collaboration with the SURE-Farm coordinator, Wageningen University and Research (WUR). The activities are moderated by a team of co-creation experts from DIMe Network.

Let's collaborate to solve problems, transcend differences, and use innovation for enhancing the resilience of the EU farming systems.
